Sparkle in the Leaves

Hello again!  Here I go again entering another challenge.  This is such a beautiful digi.  She was last Friday's Freebie at Sassy Studio Designs! This is for challenge #92 Fall Colors.  I colored her with my Whisper Strokes markers.  I used paper from Bazzill, the Paper Co. and Imaginisce.  Jim Holtz provided the distress ink that I put around the edges.  Both ribbons are from Darice and she is sparkled with Stickles from Ranger.  My daughter provided the sparkling and took the picture.  She is so great.  Don't know what I would do without her.  My pictures never come out as good as hers.  Besides entering Sassy Studio Designs challenge, I have also entered her into the following challenges:

Sparkles Forum Challenge
Gingerloft Challenge
Hookedoncraft Challenge
Crafting for all Seasons
4 Crafty Chicks

Hope you enjoy this card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Wicked Honey

I just love this image.  This is Wicked Honey.  She came as a freebie from Sassy Studio Designs.  I have entered her into the "Hip to be Square" challenge from SSD.  She was so cute I had to color her and make a card right away.  She was colored with Whisper Strokes markers.  I used paper from Bazzill and some generic card stock.  The webs are paper tape from Martha Stewart.  The sentiment was cut out with EK Success punch and distressed with Jim Holtz Distress Ink.  That cute little spider came from K & Co.  Hope you have a great Halloween!  Thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of You

I moved to Ohio almost a year ago and I miss my friends back in Georgia.  I wanted to let them know I was thinking of them and so I made them this card.  I hope they like it.  I used the following:

Lilly bouquet from StitchyBear Digital Stamps
Sentiment from Doodle Pantry cut with Ek Success punch
Paper from Bazzill, Pocket of Posies Stack border punched with a Martha Stewart Punch
and used some generic paper stock
I colored with Whisper Strokes and sparkled up with Stickles

I hope you like it and I hope my friends like it as well.  I am entering this card into Sparkles Forum Challenges and also Bows and Berries.  Wish me luck.  Thanks for stopping by.

Get well soon

I don't know about yours but my kids have constantly been sick or hurt or something wrong.  When they were little I wasn't crafting, but now that I am I thought it would be nice to have a get well card ready.  I am with my young nieces all the time and they have the clumsy gene that seems to live in our family.  So here I created some get well cards with who I call Boo Boo Bear.  He is from Digital Delights Digi Stamps and the sentiment from Stampfairy.com.  Both were colored with my Whisper Strokes.  The paper comes from Bazzill and Pocket full of Posies.  The ribbon is from Darice.  I have entered this into Aud Sentiments Challenge and Lexi's Creations.  Wish me luck and hope I don't need to use this card anytime soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

Turtle Birthday

Birthday wishes are in the air.  Today is my birthday!  I had a wonderful lunch with my family and then went off to Sarah's birthday party.  I said she was a social butterfly and I was not kidding.  She had so many guests she had to have two parties.  One for all her school friends and one for family.  I got invited to the family party.  Anyway making these cards has been so much fun I thought I would make a couple more for the Birthday Sundaes Challenge.   Here are the things I used to make this card:

The image is from Whimsie Doodles which is the sponsor for this challenge
I colored him with my Whisper Strokes markers
The card stock is from Bazzill Basics Paper
The paper is from Pocket full of Posies
The sentiment is from Meijen Designs
The stickers I have had for a while and don't remember who made them

I hope you like him and his sister who will be up for the challenge as well.  Thanks for stopping by.

Sarah's Birthday

Well Sarah is turning 6 this week.  She is the daughter of a girl who I grew up with.  Her family lived next door to mine.  Her mother has remained a best friend to my sister for many years.  (Don't want to give away any ages)  Her fave colors are pink and purple so I had to use those colors.  She is also a major social butterfly.  Her party will be a large blowout.  I can't wait.  To make this card I used the following:

The solid card stock is from The Paper Co.
The bird is from Doodle Pantry
The balloons are from Stamp Fairy
Both are colored with Whispers Strokes markers
I use my Martha Stuart border punch
and my EK punch for the sentiment which
I typed myself on the computer

I hope you like this card and more importantly I hope Sarah likes it. I have entered this card into Birthday Sundaes Challenge.  Wish me luck!
