Be Mine

This gorgeous image is My Funky Valentine Betty.  She comes from Simply Betty Stamps.  They are having a Simply B Challenge where you use one of the Betty stamps.  I chose this Valentine Betty because I just won her in a previous challenge.  I think she is just beautiful.  I love the Victorian dress with the steam-punk box of candy.

I colored her with Whisper Strokes markers and some Stickles from Ranger.  I love Stickles.  Making things sparkly is just so much fun.  I used papers from Bazzill, Fred She Said, GTC's Crafty Corner and Far Far Hill.  The ribbon comes from Martha Stewart, the pearls from Queen & Co. and the crystals from EZ Success.  Finally the punch is from Marvy.

Since I made my oldest daughter a card I wanted to make one for my youngest as well.  She is so great! And gorgeous too. Don't you agree?

She's modeling the new coat and haircut her Aunt Becky got for her.  I love the new look.

Winter Wonderland

Isn't this just a great image! Lindsay at Sassy Studio Designs does such a fabulous job on her images.  She even gives away a beautifully sassy woman every Friday on Paper Craft Planet.  I made this image just for Sassy's Dare to be Thursday challenge.  Winter frost colors like blues, whites, grays, purples and silvers are good for this one.

This image is called Winter Wendy.  I'm partial to red hair so I had to add that color.  Could it be because I'm a red head?  I colored her with Whisper Strokes markers and some Stickles from Ranger.  The paper is from my generic stock and My Grafico. The silver button embellish is from Bo Bunny.  The ribbons are Martha and Darice.

I have entered her into the following challenges:

I hope you enjoyed this card and thanks for stopping by.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Happy Valentine's Day!  I made this card for my lovely daughter who is off in college.  Her name is Cassandra though most of my family calls her Cassasha.  It's so hard to have your kids grow up and move away.  Cassandra is attending a school about a nine hour drive from me.  I don't get to see her very often at all.  She is doing great and will graduate soon.  Then off to graduate school.  Will it ever end?  Anyway, I miss her a lot so thought I would make her this card.

This image is from Teddy Bo & Co.  They are celebrating a birthday and offering lots of candy.  Hop on over and check them out.  Lots of cute bears.  I colored her with Whisper Strokes markers and a little Stickles from Ranger.  The paper is from Bazzill, Fred She Said, The Paper Co. and some generic stock.  The sentiment is my own with a Marvy heart punch.  The little swirl is from Sizix.  All the paper came from my box o scraps, even the flourish.  I had cut it out a while ago and didn't use it.  Finally the ribbon is from Martha.

I have entered into the following challenges:

Thank You Bear

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!!!

Hope all your holidays have been just fabulous.  My daughter, Alicia, received too much but her cousins got the entire farm.  I never saw so many gifts under a tree for three little girls.  Alicia received a nice gift from her Aunt's mother so I told her to make a thank you card.  Like any other teenage girl she has procrastinated terribly so I made a quick card for her to send.

This card came entirely from my scrap bin of paper.  The image is from Cre8tive Hands.  It was a recent freebie.  The image came with and without color.  As this was to be from my daughter I let her choose.  Since she didn't want to do any coloring she chose the colored image.  The papers were distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink from Ranger.  The thank you was sparkled with Sparkles from Ranger.

This card has been entered into the following challenges:

Hope your new year is filled with joy and happiness.
Thanks for stopping by!
