Two weeks go by so fast! Here we are again with another challenge for you at

CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN

Our challenge is to use "Flowers".  We can all get behind that one I'm sure.  The image I have for you is "Red Hot Honey"  from the Make a Wish Collection.  Little Red Riding Hood has grown up.  I have colored her with Copic and Whisper Strokes markers.  I then added some Glossy Accents and Stickles because every girl needs to sparkle and shine.  The sketch comes from Sketch N Stash.

I've used papers from Bearly Mine and some generics.  The corners are embossed with a floral Sizzix folder, there's Tim Holtz Distress Ink and a ribbon from C&G.  The lovely flowers are from a candy win over a year ago.  I've used up lots and still have more.  She was very generous! Thanks Julie!

CHRISTMAS IN JULY W/DR DIGI

Our challenge is "CHRISTMAS IN JULY"

I love Christmas.  It's the best and most wonderful time of the year.  Everyone just seems a bit nicer at Christmas and we get to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.  So doing a Christmas in July challenge just brings a bit of that miracle time of year 6 months early.

For this challenge I am using the image "Lonely This Christmas" from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  Such an adorable stamp!  I've never been very good at white so this was a bit of a challenge for me.  I hope I did OK.  I colored with Copic markers and added some Glossy Accents to the glasses and the stick arms (just to give a bit of stability) then added a bit of Liquid Applique` to the ball on top of his cap.  The sketch I used comes from Sketch N Stash.





Everything I used was in my stash and some of it over a year old.  It's nice when you can use these things up.  The papers I used are from Martha Stewart, Bazzill and Trimgym (paper piecing on his shorts).  The snowflakes are Reflections, corners are Momenta, pearls from Kaiser Craft and Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  I created the sentiment on Word.
