A VALENTINE

Another two weeks have gone by?  Really?  It seems time is going way too fast for me.  I guess I'm just getting old.  So I would like to welcome you to another fabulous challenge at

The challenge this fortnight is to use stitching.  Our sponsor this time is

The image I was given is called Whimsical Big Eye Girl Clara.  Isn't she just adorable!  My sister Rebecca says she speaks to her.  She just loves these images too.  Clara reminded me a bit of Goth but since I am so bad at black I went with grey and a touch of red.

Stitches have always been a challenge for me.  I'm very bad at it.  Rebecca to the rescue.  She had just purchased a stitching die.  So of course I raided her stash and got the die.  It works so well.  I am no longer stitching challenged.

My next thing to get through was using the sequins on another project.  My sister challenged our cousin and me to use sequins on two projects.  This is my second one.  I used the sequins to make a shaker card.  This is also a first for me.  I have never made one before.  I think it turned out well.

I hope you will join us in this challenge.  Please head over to the CWWC blog and check out all the other wonderful creations made by my DT sisters.

KEEP ON SHINING

This is my 2nd post for today.  If your looking for the CWWC post please scroll down to my next post.

I have been asked by a friend to make as many birthday cards for her as I can and so this is #2.  Almost everything I have used comes from Simon Says in their April 2014 package.  I won it from one of their challenges.  It is just adorable.  I thought I would make some birthday cards from it.  The only other thing I have used is paper from Bazzill for the base card.

Thanks for visiting me today and have a blessed day!

HEARTFELT

Welcome to another fabulous challenge here at

CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN

Our challenge is to "use your favorite quote/saying"

I have a friend that has survived breast cancer.  She is a wonderful woman - strong and beautiful!  When we were asked to use a quote or saying, all I could think about was Sheila.  So I could only choose this lovely image called "Heartfelt".  Isn't she just gorgeous!  I love that she is so dignified and full of life....just like Sheila.  I hope she likes the card I made for her.

Please join us this time around and let us know what your favorite quote or saying is....and go check out our blog with all the wonderful inspiration from the gorgeous women at CWWC.
